Last week, Xian Zhang returned to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for a trio of performances on the 29 May at The Music Center at Strathmore and 31 May and 1 June at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. With the programme including Chen Yi’s Landscape Impression, Glazunov’s Violin Concerto with violinist Jonathan Carney, and Tchaikovsky’s Suite from Sleeping Beauty and Francesca da Rimini, the concerts received great acclaim:
